Kourtney Kardashian Says She And Travis Barker Don’t Have The Same “Pace Of Life”

Kourtney Kardashian Barker and Travis Barker may have different lifestyles, but that hasn’t stopped them from making their marriage work. The reality star, 45, and the Blink-182 drummer, 49, have found a way to balance their differences while always showing up for each other.
On the March 13 episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney opened up about how she and Travis don’t always move at the same speed. “Travis’ pace of life is pretty fast. I would say he tries to squeeze in as much as he can into a day,” she said. “So I am balancing me trying to slow all of my life down, mixed with doing all the things that he wants to do.”
Despite these differences, they always make an effort to support one another. Later in the episode, Kourtney stood by Travis’ side as he kicked off his first-ever Run Travis Run 5K in Los Angeles before heading to a sold-out show at SoFi Stadium. “It is really important to both of us that we show up for each other and that we can support each other,” Kourtney shared, adding, “I know it means a lot to him, and I know it means a lot to me when he’s there for me. It’s everything to have that.”
Kourtney, who welcomed their 16-month-old son Rocky with Travis, was also there for him at a charity race in New Orleans ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl. While she was hesitant to run the first race in L.A. — admitting her “large, breastfeeding boobs” made it pretty “uncomfortable” — she completed the New Orleans race hand-in-hand with her husband.
Travis later revealed how their love for fitness has strengthened their relationship. “I think it’s nice being with someone that also shares that same passion about working out, taking care of each other,” he told PEOPLE.
He went further: “We actually got closer by working out every day. We were just friends, so it’s never a matter of like, ‘Do you want to work out tomorrow?’ It’s always like, ‘Hey, what time are we working out? What are we doing?’”
Though running together in New Orleans left their “hands really sweaty,” Travis said it was an unforgettable experience. He also made sure to match Kourtney’s pace. “[She] had kind of hinted to me she wanted to run it, so I stayed at her pace. She finished really, really good,” he said.
