Kristin Cavallari Finally Reveals Her Mystery Man — Even Though It’s Over Now
Kristin Cavallari is done playing the guessing game, as she has finally revealed the identity of her mystery man! On the April 1 episode of her podcast, Let’s Be Honest, the reality star and entrepreneur opened up about her relationship with former NHL player Nate Thompson. This comes months after she first mentioned dating a “retired athlete” who “checks all the boxes” on Bunnie Xo’s podcast back in December. Turns out, fans had already cracked the case, thanks to some dedicated TikTok sleuths.
Kristin couldn’t help but gush about Nate, calling their connection “the most honest, pure, amazing, quote-unquote relationship I’ve ever had.”
She admitted they didn’t hold back, sharing “f—ing everything” with each other. For Kristin, their relationship was deeper than most, even if it didn’t quite make it to the “boyfriend” stage. According to her, she “wouldn’t consider him a boyfriend per se, but rather someone that I’ve dated.”
Still, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. The distance between them — Kristin in Nashville and Nate in Los Angeles — proved to be a challenge. The mom of three also faced the reality of her busy life, saying, “…My time that I can give to a man right now is so limited… It’s f—ing complicated, alright, with having my kids most of the time. It’s not like it was a couple years ago, which is fine. Again, this is not the phase of my life where I I don’t even wanna be dating that much anymore,” With her three kids and a packed schedule, finding time for a relationship wasn’t easy. She admitted it wasn’t fair to Nate or herself.
The former Laguna Beach star revealed that things fizzled out before her Let’s Be Honest tour kicked off in March. She decided to focus on herself and the tour, determined to avoid any distractions. “I did not put any energy into men. I did not talk to any men,” she said proudly. Even when hot guys slid into her DMs, she ignored them all. “You guys would have been so proud of me,” she joked.
Kristin has had her share of high-profile romances. Before Nate, she was briefly linked to TikToker Mark Estes and was famously married to retired NFL player Jay Cutler, with whom she shares her three kids. But now, she’s taking a step back from dating.
