Kyle Richards Reveals She Hasn’t Visited Mauricio Umansky’s Condo Amid Separation
Kyle Richards is getting candid about her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s latest life change — a new condo that was supposed to be a temporary stop but is looking more permanent by the day.
During a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Kyle, 55, opened up to Erika Jayne about why she hasn’t yet visited Mauricio’s new place. She also shed light on how what started as a six-month lease has evolved into something more.
“He said, you know, ‘I need to do this. I’m going to move out for six months, we’ll figure it out,’” Kyle explained, recalling their earlier conversations. “So I was like, ‘We’ll take it from there,’ type of thing.”
However, Kyle began noticing signs that Mauricio, 54, had plans beyond just a short-term stay. “Then all of a sudden, he was buying stuff,” she shared. “This feels like he went into that thinking this was…” Kyle trailed off, implying that her ex’s intentions may have been more long-term than she initially thought.
The reality star went further, saying, “He’s invited me a number of times actually, it just hasn’t worked out yet — not for any particular reason. I’ve been out of town for certain things or I’ve had plans.”
“And then the Jewish holidays just passed and he said can you come over and we’ll do the holidays at my house. I was like, ‘I have more space here. You’re going to have to have to rent tables.’ So I’ve still been hosting the Jewish holiday dinners with his family,” she added.
According to her, Mauricio comes to their formerly shared home sometimes.
Though the couple announced their separation earlier this year after 27 years of marriage, Kyle’s comments suggest there are still lingering emotions and unresolved questions. The duo, who share three daughters, have made headlines for navigating their separation while co-parenting and maintaining public appearances.
