Lana Del Rey Says She Did Not Feel Any Negative Emotion During 2024 Grammys Despite Losing All Nominations

Lana Del Rey took center stage at this year’s Grammy Awards, bringing her signature style and charm to the star-studded event. Despite being nominated for five awards, Lana’s main focus was on enjoying the experience and soaking in the atmosphere.

In a heartfelt Instagram comment, the talented singer behind hits like A&W and Summertime Sadness, shared her delight at simply being part of the Grammys scene. 

“I literally just loved being there. I love to see everyone, get the tea and hang out. Get dressed up. I literally did not feel 1 ounce of negative emotion at any point in that award ceremony. It was pure funniness and laughter,” she stated, emphasizing the positive energy she felt throughout the ceremony.

Dressed to impress in a stunning floral black dress adorned with bows and accessorized with elegant gloves and jewels, the singer radiated grace and sophistication on the red carpet. 

Although she didn’t take home any trophies this time around, Lana’s nominations added to her impressive tally of career acknowledgments, with a total of 11 Grammy nominations under her belt. 

Her album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, received nods for best alternative music album and album of the year, showcasing her versatility and artistic vision.

Notably, Lana’s collaboration with Taylor Swift on the song Snow by the Beach earned praise from the Grammy-winning superstar herself. Taylor, who secured the coveted album of the year award for her 10th studio album, made a special mention of Lana during her acceptance speech, acknowledging her influence and contribution to the music industry.

Also acknowledging Jack Antonoff, Taylor stated, “I get to work with one of my best friends who is not only one of my best friends but also a once-in-a-generation producer. That’s Jack Antonoff. I’m so lucky.” 

“But I think so many female artists would not be where they are and would not have the inspiration they have if it weren’t for the work that [Lana has] done. I think she’s a legacy artist, a legend in her prime right now. I’m so lucky to know you and to be your friend,” the Blank Space singer remarked, highlighting Lana’s status as a trailblazer and a source of inspiration for generations to come.
