Lottie Moss Becomes Emotional After Feeling Abandoned by Her Sister, Kate Moss
While on Celebs Go Dating, Lottie Moss became emotional as she shared bits and pieces about her fractured relationship with her sister, supermodel legend Kate Moss.
The 25-year-old OnlyFans model, alongside other stars like Adam Collard and Chloe Burrows, is on the show to find love. During the last episode where she underwent a therapy session, she candidly mentioned her family problems and personal drama.
Speaking to Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, the show’s new sex guru, Lottie shared revealing tidbits about her 49-year-old iconic half-sister. According to her, she and her sister have been constantly compared. This led her to feel abandoned and more hesitant to show her true self.
Lottie, who was one of Kate’s bridesmaids in 2011 when she wedded Jamie Hince, confessed, “I know where this problem stems from. I’ve felt quite abandoned by my sister, and we’ve not had a very good relationship for several years.”
This new comment about her strained relationship with Kate came weeks after sharing that she and her sister have never been close because of their significant 24-year age gap. Lottie claimed that Kate never wanted to have a relationship with her, even when she was younger—something that Lottie never fully understood.
The half-sisters share the same father and are both models. Though Lottie didn’t achieve supermodel status like Kate, Lottie was also successful in her modeling career. She was under contract with Storm Models, the same agency who discovered Kate at the JFK Airport when she was 14 years old. Lottie worked for big brands like Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and D&G.
Ultimately, Lottie felt that modeling was not for her after she experienced the dark side of the industry and felt controlled. This prompted her to leave Storm Models (though rumors circulated that the agency was the one that dumped her due to her wildlife style, cocaine addiction, and cosmetic surgeries).
She eventually moved to OnlyFans, another modeling group where she felt more supported. Lottie revealed that joining OnlyFans empowered her to celebrate her pansexual choices.
For Lottie, being Kate’s younger sister was a massive weight to bear. She admitted that “nothing would ever be as good as what she’s done.” Because of this, she feels that everything she does—especially in the fashion industry—is redundant.
Lottie, whose real name is Charlotte, further shared that in almost every house she goes to, they’d always have something of her sister—a poster, book, Diet Coke can, etc. Everyone would bring her up even if Lottie was the one who was physically present. She revealed she couldn’t top what her sister had done and asked, “Where does that leave me?”
After trying to make sense of what’s happening, Lottie finally resigned herself to the fact that “family is complicated.” Just because Kate is a highly regarded supermodel doesn’t mean that they don’t have their fair share of backstories.
The younger sister confessed that she and Kate don’t see eye-to-eye. Despite loving her, they’re not close and it’s a fact that she’s come to accept.
As for Kate, one of the reasons why so many people are interested in her is the air of mystery she maintains. Kate has always been private, especially about her personal life. Unlike Lottie, Kate has never publicly discussed her relationship with her sister.
