In a heartwarming interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, actress Margaret Qualley couldn’t contain her excitement as she reminisced about her recent wedding to music producer Jack Antonoff. The 29-year-old Maid star, who tied the knot with Antonoff in August, gushed about the magical experience.
When asked by Jimmy about her wedding day, Margaret exclaimed, “It was the best day of my life. It was amazing. It was so fun.”
The actress also shared insights into the couple’s dance moves at the reception, teasing Jack’s “shoulder dancing” style. Despite his less-than-enthusiastic approach to dancing, Margaret praised her husband’s willingness to let loose and enjoy the celebration.
Speaking of their life together in New Jersey, Margaret expressed her adoration for the Garden State, highlighting its scenic beaches, picturesque farms, and proximity to the bustling city.
In her words, “I love it so much. I don’t understand what not to love. You’ve got the beach, you’ve got the farms, and you’re just so close to the city.”
Jimmy chipped in to say, “I’m laughing in my head because you at one point told me, ‘Jimmy, you should move to our neighborhood in Brooklyn.’ And then now you moved out… I would have to come with you to New Jersey.”
Jack and Margaret’s star-studded wedding ceremony, attended by A-list celebrities including Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, and Zoë Kravitz, was a testament to the couple’s widespread popularity and the depth of their connections within the entertainment industry.
Margaret and Jack’s romance blossomed publicly in early 2022, with the couple making their debut at the AFI Awards Luncheon before gracing the Critics’ Choice Awards together. Their relationship has since flourished, with Margaret proudly supporting Jack at the 2022 Grammys, where he was nominated for his work on Taylor Swift’s Evermore.
Jack, reflecting on their wedding day during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, poignantly remarked, “Someone told me that when you die and when you get married is the only time everyone you love is in a room. And I was like, ‘Oh that is just a thing someone says and I perform for a living so I don’t mind if the attention is on me.’ And then as soon as it started, my whole body became wet.”
