Nicola Peltz Wants a Second Wedding, Calls the First “Negatively Stressful”
It has been reported that Nicola Peltz wants to hold another wedding ceremony with her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, because the first lavish gathering was stressful from start to finish. Recall that her father also has a £132,000 lawsuit against the planners handling the first wedding.
Last April 2022, the 28-year-old actress and the 23-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn, tied the knot in a lavish and all-out celebrity wedding ceremony.
And now, according to Closer, the billionaire’s daughter wants another ceremony that she can associate with a positive and happy experience instead of all the stress she experienced during the first one.
A close source mentioned that her first wedding was a nightmare for Nicola and that she was not happy with it. The stress of having to go through three different wedding planners had Nicola associate her first wedding with tension and unending rows.
Nicola opened up about her feelings for her husband and how it also impacts their relationship. It was reported that she is having difficulties looking at and enjoying all their wedding pictures. They bring back the tense and stressful memories of the wedding preparations.
The Insider said Nicola wants a new wedding ceremony for her and Brooklyn’s first anniversary this year. She wants to redo everything – from the dress to the pictures and event. And despite some eyebrows shooting up, she wants this second wedding ceremony to be more lavish than the first, if possible.
One of the other intentions of the second wedding ceremony is to make amends and mend the ongoing feud between Nicola and her mother-in-law, Victoria.
Recall that Nicola and Victoria shared a close relationship, but things started to get cold when Nicola chose not to wear Victoria’s design for her big day. Nicola has consistently denied bad blood between her and her husband’s mother.
When interviewed by Sunday Times, Nicola explained her side of the story, “It’s not a feud! I keep seeing everywhere that word, ‘feud, feud, feud’! I don’t pay attention to all of it… if I did, I would go crazy. It all started, and I’ve said this before because I didn’t end up wearing Victoria’s wedding dress, but the absolute truth is, I really, really wanted to wear it.”
She further said, “I thought it was so beautiful that Brooklyn’s mom got to make that for me! And I was really excited to wear it! And I didn’t end up wearing it.”
From the outside, the Beckham-Peltz nuptials were so perfect that it even ended up in the glossy pages of Vogue. It looked flawless but behind the scenes, no one would imagine the nightmare unfolding for everyone involved. Even Nicola’s father, billionaire tycoon Nelson Peltz, called it a shit show.
