Paris Hilton And Carter Reum Welcome First Child!
Paris Hilton and Carter Reum took to Instagram to share the good news in an endearing post. Hilton’s post had a photo of the baby gripping Hilton’s thumb. She captioned it, “You are already loved beyond words.”
The new mother expressed her happiness at fulfilling her dream of becoming a mother and the couple’s excitement at starting this new chapter in life.
The young couple and, now, new parents tied the knot in November 2021 in an unforgettable three-day wedding celebration. This comes after they got engaged in February of the same year and dated for more than a year.
The heiress only recently celebrated the first anniversary of her marriage with Carter Reum, a venture capitalist and long-term family friend.
Carter Reum and Paris Hilton met through mutual friends and made their red carpet debut at the 2021 Golden Globes.
A long time in the making, they had discussed their plans to become parents from the early days of their dating. Paris revealed in an Episode of The Bellas Podcast that they’d “… been talking about kids since the beginning—since the first couple, like, months of dating,”
The philanthropist also shared the desire to have three or four children, or perhaps even twins, with Reum.
The news about opting to use a surrogate doesn’t come as a shocker. The Stars Are Blind singer has been pretty open about her fertility journey and her desire to choose between a girl, boy, or twins.
In an interview, Hilton had revealed the couple’s plans to have a baby via IVF. And since the world was shut down, there couldn’t have been a better opportunity to have a baby.
“We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, ‘This is perfect timing. Usually, I’m on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let’s just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,’ and we have tons of them just waiting.”
She thanked her close friend Kim Kardashian for introducing her to both her doctor and the idea of freezing her eggs and her partner Reum for his support.
“Just doing it together and having a partner that is just so supportive and always makes me feel just like a princess all the time … that it wasn’t that bad.”
Among the many wishes the couple received were those of sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild. The younger Hilton welcomed her sister to mommyhood while sharing a throwback picture of them sitting on their mother, Kathy Hilton’s lap.
While this is their first child together, Reum is also the father of a daughter from his previous marriage to reality star Laura Bellizi.
A multi-hyphenate and now mother, fans are excited to see how Paris Hilton handles this new role in life and whether the couple will be announcing more children in the future.
Among her many projects, the most anticipated is her book, Paris: The Memoir. The book captures her journey from being an icon to owning a billion-dollar empire. Paris: The Memoir is expected to be released on 2 March 2023.
