Paris Hilton Suffers Knee Injury On Set, Keeps Filming “Bad Bitch Academy”
Paris Hilton is proving that she’s willing to go all out for her art, even if it means getting a little banged up in the process. On September 2, the 43-year-old socialite and DJ shared a behind-the-scenes clip on Instagram, showing her tending to a cut on her knee while filming the music video for her new song, Bad Bitch Academy.
In true Paris fashion, she kept things light and humorous, captioning the video, “I guess glitter really does run in my veins 💁🏼♀️✨. Can’t wait for you to see all this hard work come to life in the #BBA music video on Friday! 🔥 #BadBitchAcademy 👑#InfiniteIcon ✨.”
Dressed in a sparkly silver outfit, Paris showed off her injured knee, asking, “Is there like glass in it?”
Someone off-camera quickly identified the culprit: “Oh, it’s your sequin.”
With her trademark cool, Paris responded, “Oh, it’s a sequin inside of the skin?”
“Well in this shot, we’re very close. If we just want to bandage it right now and then we can really address it for makeup,” another person backstage said.
“I can like put the knee, like hide it,” Paris stated, after which the team behind the scenes assured her that the cut wouldn’t be visible in the shot.
“Yeah, because we won’t see your knee in the shot. So we’ll just make you comfortable and safe. We’ll get this last shot because you’re such a trouper,” they said.
“And then it will like heal while we get ready for the next shot,” Paris added.
As a gloved hand cleaned the wound, she quipped, “I’ve put blood, sweat, fire, and tears into this video,” referring to an accidental trailer fire that occurred on set in August.
The camera zoomed in on her bandaged knee as Paris, with a smile, added, “Killing it with all my leg shots. The show must go on.”
Last month, Paris shared footage of the fire’s aftermath, which damaged some of her possessions, including Chanel jewelry and custom costumes from designer Michael Schmidt. Thankfully, no one was injured, and she has continued to push forward with her project.
As she prepares to release the Bad Bitch Academy video, it’s clear that Paris is as committed as ever to her craft, willing to take a few knocks along the way.
