Paris Hilton Wants More Children Shortly After Welcoming Child Via Surrogacy
Not long after receiving the blessing of a baby boy via surrogate, Paris Hilton is craving more children. During a book signing event for Paris: The Memoir in L.A. on Wednesday, she spoke to TMZ about how she can’t get enough of motherhood.
Paris and her husband, Carter Reum, revealed last month that they had welcomed a son, Phoenix Barron Hilton, through a surrogate in January. Speaking on Wednesday, the media personality told paparazzi that being a mother for the first time is “incredible.”
She said that she loves her child so much she can’t wait to have another. When asked how many children she hopes to have, she didn’t give a definitive answer but clearly communicated her interest in more. “A couple of them,” she responded.
Paris is not the only one smitten with her child. During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she shared that her mother, Kathy, is deeply in love with the boy.
When Jimmy asked if 64-year-old Kathy was enjoying her new grandmother status and loving her grandson, Paris answered that she was “obsessed.”
According to Paris, Phoenix’s addition to the family has her mother showing up at their home “unannounced.”
Paris also gushed over her son at the show. Calling him “an angel,” she says, “he’s the best.”
“The cutest, sweetest, I’m just so obsessed with him my heart feels like it’s going to explode,” she added.
Phoenix’s arrival was shrouded in secrecy as Paris, and her husband only revealed she had a baby after he was born. Even her mother did not know that she had a baby on the way till she announced it after the birth.
To introduce Phoenix to the world, the Simple Life star had a few words accompanied by a photo of her hand holding a little hand. “You are already loved beyond words,” she wrote, followed by a blue heart emoji.
About a month later, she shared photos of her, Carter, and the baby. “Baby Phoenix. Our whole entire world,” she captioned.
While Phoenix is Paris’ first child with Carter, Carter already reportedly shares a daughter with his ex Laura Bellizzi.
The secret daughter named Evie came from Carter and Laura’s brief relationship in 2011. According to reports, by the time the two broke up, Laura had conceived and would only discover she was pregnant later.
While Carter pays child support for Evie, reports have it that he does not have any fatherly relationship with her and has not seen her since she was a baby. A source once told Daily Mail that the entrepreneur has never acknowledged his first child.
“Carter has never once acknowledged Evie or given her so much as a birthday card or a Christmas present,” the source said.
