Paris Hilton’s Husband Throws Her A Surprise Birthday Party Days After Going Public About Their Sex Life
A few days after her February 17 birthday held in her Los Angeles mansion, Paris Hilton, 42, shared the pictures from her “intimate lowkey birthday” on Instagram.
In the Instagram post on February 19, the media personality thanked her husband, Carter Reum for the birthday surprise. Sharing a series of photos that includes ones with “HBD Paris” balloons standing above her and some with her celebrity friends, she wrote: “Thank you love for surprising me with such a beautiful evening. Loved having such an intimate low key birthday with close friends and family.”
Added to her caption was a teary eyed emoji.
The hotel heiress’ birthday was filled with celebrities ranging from singer Sia, the How To Be Single star Rebel Wilson, and romcom actor Noah Centineo, amongst other stars.
The birthday party included a karaoke set up where the guest took turns singing Paris’ 2006 hit Stars Are Blind.
Although not present at the event, reality TV star Kim Kardashian wished the heiress a happy birthday on February 17. “Happy Birthday @ParisHilton,” she wrote. “You deserve all the happiness, all the love, and all the laughs this year.”
The media personality’s birthday comes a few weeks after the birth of her baby on January 24, and a day after her interview with Harpers Bazaar was published. Speaking to the publication, she revealed that she believed she was asexual before she met her now-husband, Carter Reum.
Opening up about her sexuality in her 20s, the reality TV star said: “I was known as a sex symbol, but anything sexual terrified me.” She said she called herself a “kissing bandit because I only liked to make out. A lot of my relationships didn’t work out because of that.”
In a 2020 documentary, the Simple Life star spoke about the sexual abuse she endured as a teenager, revealing that it happened in a boarding school that promised to reform troubled teens.
In 2004, she had the painful experience of her sex tape being released without her consent. But things started changing for her when her husband came into the picture. In the interview, she revealed that “it wasn’t until Carter that I finally am not that way. I enjoy hooking up with my husband.”
The couple married in November 2021 at her grandfather’s estate in Bel Air. On January 21, 2023, they welcomed their first baby through surrogacy. She also has a self-titled memoir about being groomed by a male teacher in middle school coming out on March 14.
