Priyanka Chopra Jonas Celebrates 42nd Birthday On Set Of “The Bluff” In Australia
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has every reason to feel grateful as she celebrated her 42nd birthday in the most unique way — right on the film set of her upcoming movie, The Bluff, in Australia. On Friday, July 19, Priyanka shared a series of heartwarming posts that beautifully captured her working birthday on July 18.
Reflecting on her special day, Priyanka wrote, “It was a working birthday this year,” as she posed amid a stunning array of flower beds, love hearts, and balloons that spelled out “PCJ.”
She added, “I’ve had so many working birthdays over the years and have realized it’s one of my favorite ways to celebrate. To be doing what I love, on a film set.”
Although her husband, Nick Jonas, couldn’t be with her physically, Priyanka felt his presence in the most thoughtful ways. “Thank you to my incredible husband who made his presence felt in such special ways, even though he was not here @nickjonas,” she stated.
One of the highlights was a Dosa truck he arranged for the crew, which she joyfully mentioned, saying, “The Dosa truck for the crew tho 😭!!! 😍.”
The celebration continued on set as her co-stars and crew sang Happy Birthday to her, a moment captured in the second slide of her post. The third slide featured a plaque with the name “Miss Ercell,” her character in The Bluff.
Priyanka also dedicated a heartfelt message to her mother, Dr. Madhu Akhouri Chopra, acknowledging her on this special day. “My mom who made me. Happy birthing day, mama. You became a mama for the first time today too @drmadhuakhourichopra. I love you,” she wrote.
She didn’t forget to mention her daughter, adding, “My little Angel @maltimarie for making life worth it.”
In her message, Priyanka extended her gratitude to the cast, crew, and producers of The Bluff. “Thank you all for the laughter, the joy, the beautifully decorated trailers, bringing in all the flowers every few minutes (sorry ADs), the waffle truck, the hugs, the cards, the cakes. You all are the best, and I would not want yesterday to be any other way,” she wrote.
Priyanka concluded her heartfelt post by thanking everyone who reached out to her from around the world. “Thank you to everyone from around the world that texted, called, and messaged. Thank you for thinking of me. I slept like a baby after that long day. Best birthday gift. With gratitude 🙏🏽Pri,” she wrote.
