Reality Star Kim Kardashian And Daughter North West Rock Contrasting Looks In TikTok Video While Singing Along With Ariana Grande
Kim Kardashian and North West dished out mother-daughter goals in a TikTok video posted on their joint account on Monday. The nine-year-old was seen all glammed up in the video as her 42-year-old mom showed off her bare face, proving that natural beauty is still in trend.
The mother-daughter duo went for contrasting looks in the video that got fans screaming “goals.” Kim wore a black sports bra under a black sweater, while North rocked a white T-shirt. Their hair also looked different in style and color. The mother of four wore her bleach-blonde hair down, and North, on the other hand, wore her black tresses up, styled into two pigtails. The little cutie completed her look with a silver and black cross necklace. Kim, however, opted for a non-accessorized look.
Ariana Grande’s song Santa Tell Me was playing as the two silently sang along to the 2014 Christmas song. Unlike her feisty daughter, the SKIMS founder seemed to not know all the lyrics to the song, but she vibed to the beat, smiling all through. For North, moving through the lyrics was a breeze as she sang along word for word.
The video ended with an “aww” moment as Kim put her arms around her daughter and gave her a warm embrace.
North is an ardent TikTok user. In the account she shares with her mother, she has posted more than 150 videos since she signed onto the platform. Her father, Kanye West, however, has expressed disapproval of her social media activities. Back in February, the Stronger rapper posted a comment to say that he is against North’s presence on TikTok. “Since this is my first divorce I need to know what I should do about my daughter being put on Tik Tok against my will?” he asked.
Kim responded via a statement saying that she is allowing North to express her creativity in the safest way possible. “As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness,” the statement read.
Kim and the 45-year-old rapper were married from 2014 to 2021. They share three other children – Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
