Rebel Wilson Shares Details About How She Lost Her Virginity And To Whom
Rebel Wilson, the famous actress, spilled some serious tea in her brand-new memoir, Rebel Rising, which hit the shelves on April 2. She revealed the name of the guy she lost her virginity to at 35!
In her tell-all, Rebel confessed that her first time was with someone named “Mickey” – actually Mickey Gooch Jr., whom she was rumored to be romantically involved with back in 2015.
In a candid moment, she addressed Mickey, saying,” “Micks, I know this might be news to you if you are reading this, but yes, I lost my virginity to you.”
Rebel spilled the beans on how she and Mickey got together. Apparently, they dated for about six months, and the introduction was made by her co-star from Pitch Perfect, Hana Mae Lee.
The Aussie actress shared that Mickey came into her life during a tough period when her mom was battling cancer. It made her realize that life was too short to miss out on experiences like love and, well, sex.
“I didn’t want to live my life without experiencing sex. Experiencing love. I put it out into the universe that I was finally ready. I was going to feel the fear and just do it,” she wrote.
She confessed to prepping for the big moment by experimenting with a vibrator and watching some adult movies. And where did it all go down? At a hotel while she was filming How to Be Single.
Describing the experience, she said, “And then it just happens. I finally have sex. And I guess I get those lovely sex chemicals into my body for the first time ever, which really bonds me to him. I’m at almost my highest weight, but this great guy finds me desirable. It feels amazing.”
Though Rebel appreciated Mickey for making her feel cherished, she eventually realized their relationship wasn’t meant to last, especially after a significant trip they took together.
According to Rebel, Mickey was the first to read her memoir. She spilled this juicy detail in an interview, assuring everyone that he’s well aware of their shared milestone.
In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE, the actress explained that she wanted her revelation to send a positive message: you don’t have to rush into things, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
Fast forward to now, Rebel is engaged to her fiancée Ramona Agruma, whom she made Instagram-official in 2022. And she’s also a proud mom to little Royce Lillian, born in November of the same year via surrogate.
Rebel also revealed in her memoir that she did not experience an orgasm till she was 39. “I truly experienced an orgasm for the first time at 39 just by myself,” she shared, adding, “My research for my Year of Love taught me that there was so much more to sex than just the guy getting off. I should have been orgasming too. That should have been a priority.”
