Rihanna Is Now a Mom of Two! Singer Welcomes Her Second Son With A$AP Rocky!

Rihanna is officially a mother of two sons after giving birth to the second child she shares with A$AP Rocky.

According to TMZ, Rihanna gave birth on August 3 in Los Angeles. However, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and their representatives have yet to confirm the news.  The news outlet revealed that they don’t know the baby’s name yet but they would like it to start with the letter “R.” 

Interestingly, the 35-year-old Rihanna and her rapper beau’s first son was named RZA Athelson when he was born in May last year. Giving their youngest child a name that starts with the letter “R” creates an obvious theme for the whole family: Rihanna, Rocky, RZA, and the latest little one.

The name of their eldest, carefully selected by both artists, is a tribute to RZA, the 54-year-old rapper, producer, and leader of the renowned Wu-Tang Clan. RZA’s real name was Robert Fitzgerald Diggs. At the same time, their firstborn son’s name is also a nod to Rocky’s middle name.

After Rihanna’s announcement of her pregnancy during the Super Bowl halftime show, she has been seen shopping for baby clothes on several outings while proudly displaying her telltale baby bump. The last time she was seen in public was around the later part of July when she and Rocky had dinner in Santa Monica, California.

The two were spotted at RiRi’s favorite Italian restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, and Rihanna was seen wearing sweatpants and a bra top with her bump in full display.

Going strong while growing their family, Rihanna and A$AP began their relationship in 2020, although they have known each other professionally since 2013. Wedding rumors surfaced in June this year when they were seen at the 2023 Cannes Lion Festival.

During Rocky’s Spotify concert, he referred to Rihanna as his wife. Upon hearing this, Rihanna, who was part of the crowd, grinned. So far, the two have kept quiet about the actual score of their relationship so nobody knows if they’ve tied the knot.

If it’s any indication, Rihanna also modeled a rather cheeky top for her Savage x Fenty collection. She wore a shirt that said, “Use a Condom.” The online photo of her wearing the statement top showed her cradling her bump. 

This comes after the release of another successful collection from her Savage x Fenty brand. The latest selection is a maternity capsule collection designed for mothers and moms-to-be of all sizes.

 The “Umbrella” hitmaker revealed that her clothing line will include three new bralette styles, an oversized t-shirt, and clothing captioned, “Make More Babies.” The collection, which aims for inclusivity, comes in XXS to 4L, with prices ranging from $35 to $60.

During Rihanna’s interview with Vogue, she revealed, “The new maternity capsule is about bringing that confidence and comfort to moms at every stage of their journeys.” She explained, “I want to remind people that you can still channel sexiness and feel good while being a parent.”
