Riley Green Shuts Down Dating Rumors: ‘Pretty Damn Single’
Riley Green wants everyone to know — he’s as single as they come. During the premiere episode of In the Blind on March 3, host Eric Gunderson wasted no time asking the country star the big question of whether he is dating anyone.
“Single,” Riley, 36, answered immediately, adding, “That was an easy one.”
Not satisfied, Eric pushed for more details. “How single?”
“Pretty damn,” Riley replied with a laugh, making it clear there’s no special someone in his life right now.
That hasn’t stopped fans from speculating. Earlier this year, TikTok detectives were convinced Riley was vacationing with fellow country singer Megan Moroney. Megan had posted photos from a trip to Saint Barthélemy, and Riley also shared snaps from what appeared to be the same resort. Fans even matched their shark pictures, and at one point, Megan was spotted wearing what looked like Riley’s hat.
While they’ve yet to collaborate officially, Riley has spoken highly of Megan’s talent. During the podcast, he admitted he was blown away by her cover of Ain’t Nothing ‘Bout You with Brooks & Dunn. “You know, I did the Brooks & Dunn Reboot this time, and I went to listen to it and my favorite song on there is not mine. She did ‘[Ain’t] Nothing ‘Bout You,’” he stated.
Riley also reflected on his own experience singing She Used to Be Mine in front of Brooks & Dunn legend Ronnie Dunn. “It’s probably a little easier for her – somebody a little more talented vocally than I am, but that’s a tough thing to go do,” he said..
Despite the ongoing speculation, Megan has her own romantic history in the spotlight. She was previously linked to Morgan Wallen but clarified that they were “never exclusively” dating. As for Riley, he’s been rumored to have dated artist manager Sophia Sansone, You Look Like You Love Me collaborator Ella Langley, and singer-songwriter Jessica Lynn.
