Romance Rumors Heat Up Again Between Jennifer Hudson And Common
In the bustling heart of New York City, Jennifer Hudson and Common once again found themselves in the spotlight, igniting whispers of a blossoming romance among their fans. The duo held hands as they graced Joe’s Pub theater to pay tribute to the legendary jazz singer, Mikel Mwalimu-Banksat.
Jennifer, at 42 years old, exuded an air of effortless elegance, donning a white jacket paired with sleek black pants and striking black-and-white heels. On the other hand, Common, aged 51, sported a relaxed yet stylish ensemble featuring white sneakers, a cream shirt, and cargo pants.
Their shared entrance into the venue, hands interlocked, spoke volumes about their camaraderie and connection. However, a representative for Hudson has yet to provide an official statement on the nature of their relationship.
Taking the stage on CBS Mornings, Jennifer playfully teased her current relationship status when prodded by anchor Gayle King. When asked if she was happy, she responded with a joyful affirmation.
“Word on the street is that you’re very happy?” Gayle asked, to which Hudson replied, “I am very happy.”
When Gayle, 68, chimed in with a warm acknowledgement, referring to it as a “very nice relationship,” Jennifer affirmed the comment, albeit making it clear that she did not intend to reveal the person.
Nate Burleson, co-host of CBS Mornings, further inquired, asking if Jennifer was “booed up.” Jennifer, displaying her sense of humor, suggested that their connection was more sophisticated than mere “booing up.” She concurred when Nate clarified that it was not an “entanglement,” asserting, “It’s definitely not an entanglement. That’s for sure.”
The sparks between Jennifer and Common first ignited in February when they were spotted together leaving Nobu in Malibu. The moment was captured in a candid photograph, Jennifer donning a pink puffer jacket, and Common rocking a vibrant hoodie.
These rumors had initially surfaced back in 2022 when the pair was seen together in both Philadelphia and Chicago. It all unfolded following the announcement in May 2022 that they would share the screen in the upcoming action-thriller film, Breathe.
However, in September 2022, Jennifer clarified the speculations surrounding their relationship. She addressed the ever-present rumor mill by emphasizing that people often concoct their own narratives.
“People create their narratives of it and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel. We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments,” she explained.
