Sandra Bullock’s relationship is on the rocks, with little hope for reconciliation
News broke recently that Sandra Bullock’s romance with longtime beau Bryan Randell is in trouble. Those close to the couple revealed that it would take a miracle to salvage their relationship.
The 59-year-old Birdbox actress and her 57-year-old photographer partner reportedly had a cooling-off period last year, when they lived apart. Unfortunately, the time and space apart did more harm than good to their relationship, according to Us Weekly.
Throughout their off-time from one another, Bryan was cordial. And Sandra hopes for a miracle that they’d still be able to work things out despite the long time apart.
However, an insider has revealed that Sandra was seen in Los Angeles last month with a mystery man.
Sandra has been with Bryan since August 2015, and the actress has been taking time off from her acting career to focus on their family. Throughout their relationship, the couple has tried to make their shared lives as low-key and private as possible.
The couple doesn’t have biological children together. Sandra is the mother to two adopted kids: 13-year-old Louis and 11-year-old Laila. Bryan has Skylar, his daughter from his previous relationship. Sandra was already in the process of adopting her second child when her relationship with Bryan became serious.
One factor that caused the gap in their relationship is their differences in mindsets when it comes to marriage.
It was reported that Bryan moved out of their shared home because Sandra was not keen on getting married. During that time, Bryan continued to be involved in the children’s lives and made it a point to be there for them.
It is common knowledge among the couple’s friends that Bryan has always wanted to make it official with Sandra. However, Sandra doesn’t see herself on that path. Sandra doesn’t need an official document to cement her future and dictate her happiness, but Bryan believes otherwise.
The couple briefly reconnected this February, but friends fear that their time apart has dimmed their connection and romantic spark.
Before Sandra took a break from acting, she sat down with Jada Pinkett Smith for a Red Table Talk. She said that she had finally found the love of her life. During her conversation with Jada, Sandra gushed, “We share two beautiful children—three children, his older children. It’s the best thing ever.”
She also described Bryan as very Christian and said that he was the best example for their children. And although Sandra admitted that they don’t always agree on certain things, he is still the best co-parent she wants for their kids.
Friends are hoping that the couple can get past this trial—the biggest so far in Sandra and Bryan’s relationship. They have both made their points clear; time will tell if they will reach a compromise and move forward with their future together.
Many close to Sandra say that the actress’ refusal to get married again is due to her unpleasant and almost traumatic experience with her previous relationship.
