Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian Reunited at their son’s Bar Mitzvah Party
Ex-couple Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick reunited as their son Mason traditionally celebrated his 13th birthday. Mason’s bar mitzvah party took place on December 17, and friends and family were all in attendance.
The two were spotted arriving separately to celebrate their son’s coming of age. Since Mason is half Jewish on his dad Scott Disick’s side, this was a very important celebration for the family. A bar mitzvah is an important initiation ceremony in Jewish culture, as it commemorates the adulthood of a young man.
But it wasn’t just mom and dad present to celebrate Mason’s big day. The Kardashian-Jenner clan was there cheering him on. Others spotted at the party were Khloé Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner.
Mason’s siblings and cousins were there too, including 10-year-old Penelope Disick, 9-year-old North West, and Reign Disick, who he shares his birthday with. Mason is the eldest grandchild of Kris Jenner, out of 12 of his siblings, and he’s the first one to have a bar mitzvah party.
The Kardashian-Jenners came clad in all black, looking as stunning and classic as ever. On this special day for Mason, his family had sweet messages to share with him. Kim posted her birthday wishes on Instagram.
“The day has come where you’re taller then [sic] me now. I just love who you are and I’m just so proud of you Mason. Welcome to your teenage years. Happy Birthday.”
Mom Kourtney Kardashian also posted a throwback of her two sons, Mason and Reign, to wish them both on their birthday, which happens to be on December 14. “December 14th… one of the best days of my life. Twice and forever. my birthday boys.”
Kourtney’s ex, Scott Disick, also shared appreciation for his sons. For Mason, he put up an Instagram story saying, “Happy birthday 2 my better half. Love you mason.” And for Reign, “The man. One down one to go.”
There’s no denying that this family shares a special bond with each other. Through thick and thin, they’re always around to celebrate their loved ones together. Mason, Penelope, and Reign are the three children of Kourtney and Scott, best known for their tumultuous relationship on the hit reality TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Over the years, their relationship saw many crests and troughs, break-ups and makeups, fights and settlements, and equal amounts of love and hate. The two finally split up in 2015 after many years of trying to make it work. They decided to co-parent their children and raise them together.
Co-parenting is a common trend in the Kardashian clan. Kim, Khloé, and Kris are all examples of successfully adapting the co-parenting style, making sure that the children spend enough time with both their mother and father, even though they’ve separated.
Kourtney is now married to musician Travis Barker, and Scott Disick is rumored to be dating 27-year-old model Rebecca Donaldson.
