Taylor Swift Tells Fans She Has Never Been This Happier Just A Month After Joe Awlyn Breakup
Taylor Swift gave her fans a live life update while performing at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
As seen in a fan’s Tik Tok video, Taylor tells her fans, “I’ve just never been this happy in my life, in all aspects of my life, ever.” She continued, “And I just want to thank you for being a part of that.”
It was part of a speech she made before launching into a surprise song that was not on the playlist. She shared with the crowd that the song brings her a lot of happy memories.
The song in question? “Question…?” A song from her Midnights album, which talks about a breakup. Interesting!
In her speech, Swift talked about a lot of things in her life making sense and started singing her 2022 track, which has the lyrics “Can I ask you a question? / Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room? / And every single one of your friends was making fun of you? / But 15 seconds later they were clapping, too? / Then what did you do?”
This comes six weeks after the singer is reported to have split from her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn. She has already been linked to Matty Healy, The 1975 singer, although neither of them has confirmed the rumor.
Taylor and Matty were seen on many group outings, with the latest being on May 16. Healy has also been present for several of Taylor’s shows and has even performed in her opening act a few times. They have also been spotted holding hands. Recently, Healy was spotted enjoying Taylor’s Eras tour performance at Lincoln Financial Field alongside her father Scott Swift in a private box.
While Taylor did not specify the reason behind her “happiness”, fans were quick to speculate that it could be her budding relationship with Healy. The two have known each other since 2014 and even dated briefly during that time. However, the timing just didn’t work out then.
Last Thursday, Healy was seen leaving Taylor’s apartment building, and earlier the two were spotted leaving a recording studio.
A source told ET, “Taylor and Matty like each other. Taylor has a crush on Matty and they are having a good time hanging out. Matty also thinks Taylor is awesome and incredibly talented, too. They dated briefly in the past.” However, the reps of the two have not confirmed anything.
According to Daily Mail, a source close to Alwyn said he is not happy about their relationship. Apparently, he trusted Taylor when she told him that she and Healy were just friends as they were working together on an album (Midnight, which came out last October). Although there seems to be no overlap between Taylor’s relationship with Alwyn and her supposed relationship with Healy, Alwyn is heartbroken that she has moved on so quickly.
Swift, however, is very focused on her tour and enjoys hanging out with Healy when she is free. But, according to a source, the pair is “not just platonic.”
