Tori Spelling Is Staying At A $100 Per Night Motel With Her Five Kids Amidst Marital Conflict With Dean Mcdermott

It’s definitely a far cry from what socialite Tori Spelling is used to. The Beverly Hills 90210 star had a pampered and expensive upbringing, living in a $165 million Holmby Mansion with his millionaire television mogul father, Aaron Spelling. Still, times change, and for Tori, when it rains, it really pours. 

Last weekend, Tori was caught leaving a hundred-dollar motel with her and her five children. This temporary shelter for the family came just weeks after her husband, Dean McDermott, released a statement stating that they were getting a divorce. This announcement was deleted soon after, but many were able to screenshot and document it. 

Fifty-year-old Tori, who controversially only received $800,000 of inheritance from her father’s $600 million fortune, was checked in with her children at a Los Angeles motel. The details of why the family is staying there are not precise, but the temporary lodging makes the speculation louder that her marriage of 18 years with Dean is finally ending. 

Tori was seen with Liam, 16; Stella, 15; Hatti, 11; Finn, 10; and Beau, 6. This year has not been easy for Tori and her family, having been forced to move out of their home in May because of a mold problem that has been slowly killing their family for the past three years. 

And then, just a few weeks ago, it was revealed that her husband, Dean, had finally reached his breaking point with Tori. It was shared that for 18 years of being together, Tori was nothing but demanding, ungrateful, and that nothing that Dean did was good enough for the high-standard socialite.

Friends close to the couple admitted that although Dean made plenty of adjustments and changes to cater to and hopefully meet Tori’s demands, these efforts were nothing, and they were also not reciprocated. It was not a two-way marriage, and Dean always reached out to make the relationship work.

The Canadian actor then issued a statement on his social media account that read, “It’s with great sadness and a very, very heavy heart that after 18 years together and five amazing children, @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own.”

The Instagram post continued, “We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness.” But this post was deleted immediately.

And after one day of Dean’s post, his wife’s action spoke volumes, given that she stayed silent during Father’s Day with no greeting whatsoever. Tori and Dean’s marriage has been plagued with problems before. Back then, it was also reported that the two were struggling financially, even causing Tori to tell her husband that he was not carrying his share of the weight in terms of their finances.

Recall that Tori and Dean’s relationship started with an affair after working on a movie together in 2005. Back then, they were married to their previous spouses, and both filed for divorce to be with one another.

Aside from money problems, Dean also has an affair while married to Tori, but the two decide to stay together and work it out. But in 2021, Tori made a shocking admission during SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, sharing that she and Dean have been sleeping in separate beds and that her kids and the dogs share the room with her.
