Tori Spelling Moves to An $ 18,000-A-Month Home in Woodland Hills
After moving from hotel to hotel and an RV with her five children, Tori Spelling seems to be doing better after her divorce from her ex-husband Dean McDermott. Together with 16-year-old Liam, 15-year-old Stella, 12-year-old Hattie, 12-year-old Finn, and 6-year-old Beau, the former 90210 star moved into a more upscale residence in Woodland Hills.
Since their divorce this year, Tori and her children have been living in low-budget hotels. They were also spotted living in an RV on an extended camping trip due to financial challenges and mold issues at their Hidden Hills lodging.
However, she seems set for a more upscale lifestyle that’s less luxurious than her childhood home after leasing a Woodland Hills residence in California. The monthly rent is $18,000 a month while the security deposit costs $19,000.
Tori also appears to be slowly returning to the social scene after being snapped in Los Angeles attending a friend’s Halloween party.
The mom-of-five finally has a nice place to call home once again. The single-story house has four bedrooms, three baths, and one guest house. Spanning 3,300 square feet, their new residence is beautifully furnished and is designed to let in lots of natural light.
According to its listing, the house has hardwood floors, a five-person bar, a dining area for six people, large sliding glass doors, flat panel TVs, an office and gaming room, and lots of storage space. The kitchen is also a chef’s dream thanks to its updated appliances and wide counter space.
Outside, Tori and her kids can spend their afternoons and weekends at the large pool, patio, and entertaining area. She can also go back to hosting with the outdoor set-up. The former actress seems to be ready to settle down at her new place because she was seen canvassing storage facilities and moving trucks in LA last Thursday.
Recall that in her 2013 memoir, Spelling It Like It Is, Tori expressed that she has a real estate obsession. She wrote, “But as it persists, it’s starting to look compulsive. Moving is expensive, and I’ve put us in a precarious financial situation.”
The move is timely given that their previous rental seems to have been located in a rather dangerous neighborhood. Based on reports, the family was forced to leave and evacuate their previous rental home when law enforcement and the SWAT team searched the house next to theirs.
Their next-door neighbor had an assault rifle with him. The incident ended when their neighbor was taken into custody at around 1 PM, but the police had to stay on their property hours after because of the investigation.
A lot of people are speculating that Tori’s mother, Candy Spelling, has stepped in with an infusion of cash. In 2016, Candy admitted to taking care of her daughter’s bills, including house, food, and her grandchildren’s tuition fee expenses. This is mostly because Tori is known for being a spendthrift who has a tendency to spend large sums of money in the blink of an eye.
