Travis Kelce Offers Behind-the-Scenes Details From Coachella Experience
In the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, Jason Kelce convinced brother Travis Kelce to spill the details of his Coachella April 13 date night with Taylor Swift.
To fans’ delight, the star couple made an appearance at the desert music festival this year. From their outfits to the sets they enjoyed and the PDA, the couple was the focus of many trending Coachella stories.
The biggest highlight was their appearances alongside fans as they enjoyed the performances. Speaking about their choice to interact with the audience, Travis said, “I like to see it from the fans’ perspective.”
The 34-year-old Chiefs player added, “Because I am a fan of music, I’m a fan of live shows. I want to see it from the front of the stage. We probably could have finessed it that way, but I think it’s just that much more of an experience if you’re in the pit, man, if you’re in the madness with all the fans.”
He also shared his love for Coachella and gave glimpses of how music fits into his busy life. “I love live music, I don’t get enough of it in my life…I just like going to events, going places where people are seeing all these talented people in the world, I just like to experience that type of s–t. That’s the one thing that I really enjoy about Coachella is that it’s not just one genre of music,” he explained.
Apart from Travis’ passion for live music, the brothers discussed how the podcast’s branded green hat, donned by the Karma singer at Coachella, became the most popular item on the merch website.
Although it’s been close to a year since the couple got together, their public appearances have always made headlines.
Their love story began in the summer of 2023 when Kelce caught the Singer’s Eras Tour stop at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO. Tabloids were flush with news of Kelce admitting, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.”
During the July 26 episode of New Heights, the Kansas City Chiefs Player also revealed his disappointment at not being able to give his handmade bracelets to the singer. “So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he confessed.
By September 2023, it was confirmed that the two were dating when Swift showed up at Kelce’s game to cheer him on.
Earlier this year, the couple also made headlines when the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl in February 2024. But it was the pairs’ endearing PDA moment after the game that caught the eyeballs of Swifties everywhere.
At present, the lovebirds are still making headlines for their Coachella appearance. Pictures flooding the internet show the couple enjoying a PDA-packed evening while watching performances from Dom Dolla, Jungle, Sabrina Carpenter, Ice Spice, Jack Antonoff and his band Bleachers, and more.
