Travis Kelce On His Final Eras Tour Show: “Absolutely Rocking!”
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs star and certified Swiftie, couldn’t resist catching one final show on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour before it wraps. On his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the 35-year-old shared his excitement about attending Taylor’s concert in Indianapolis on November 2. It was the second of three nights Taylor performed at Lucas Oil Stadium to close out the U.S. leg of her blockbuster tour.
“I wanted to see Tay one more time before this thing got closed up,” Travis admitted with a grin on the podcast. Taylor’s upcoming Canadian shows in Toronto and Vancouver will be her last dates on the tour, with a final performance set for Dec. 8.
Describing the energy at the Indianapolis show, Travis said, “I’ll tell you what, man. The American crowds, they did not disappoint. I heard that it was a lot more rowdy this time around, knowing she was coming back to stop through America one last time before the tour was over with, and I’ll tell you what, man, that thing was rocking. Absolutely rocking.”
Travis wasn’t just starstruck by Taylor. He also got to meet college basketball sensation Caitlin Clark at the concert. Describing her as “awesome” and sharing that the two bonded over their Midwestern roots and love for sports, she stated, “She loves being out there in Indianapolis, says it’s a fun city, and, we’re both just true Midwesterners to the heart. You know? Played high school ball, college ball, pro ball, all out here in the Midwest, and, it was cool catching up with her. She was there with her mom and a few friends she had been, I think this is, like, her third or fourth show she had been to.”
Travis added, “She’s a Swiftie through and through, man. Loves the show. I went to night two. She had already been to night one.”
Fans spotted Travis in the VIP area with Taylor’s mom, Andrea Swift, as the singer belted out So High School — a track rumored to be about him. Taylor even delighted the crowd with a playful shout-out to her boyfriend, tweaking the lyrics of her song Karma to say, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” Taylor has made this lyrical switch a tradition when Travis is in the audience.
After the show, Travis couldn’t stop raving about the fun. “It’s a good place to go if you’re looking to have fun, that’s for damn sure,” he laughed, with his brother and podcast co-host Jason, 37, adding, “Ain’t that the truth.”
