Travis Kelce’s Mom Reveals She’s A Fan Of Taylor Swift’s Epic Eras Tour
At the premiere of her son’s acting debut in the FX horror series Grotesquerie, Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce, shared her excitement about possibly attending one of Taylor’s shows before the tour ends in December. “I hope so, I hope so. I would like to,” she said enthusiastically, adding, “It’s spectacular.”
Although Donna, 71, hasn’t been to the record-breaking Eras Tour yet, she watched the concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, and was “totally enthralled” by Taylor’s ability to connect with her audience.
“I did see it and I did like it. It was awesome,” she told PEOPLE, revealing that she wasn’t a big fan of the singer’s music before her son started dating her.
Donna explained, “I would say not. My era was Earth, Wind and Fire, Chaka Khan, things like that. That’s more my music. But obviously, talent is talent.” Last NFL season, she cheered for Travis, 34, alongside Swift at many Kansas City Chiefs games.
Donna was also there when Taylor made her first appearance in a box at Arrowhead Stadium last September for a game against the Chicago Bears. She celebrated with the Blank Space singer on the field after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
Recently, Donna and Andrea Swift, Taylor’s mom, were seen hanging out during Travis’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 15.
Taylor herself confirmed that her final show will be on December 8 in Vancouver. During a concert in June, she expressed her mixed feelings about the tour ending. “A lot of you are like, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’ The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December,” she said in a footage.
“That feels so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so fun for us,” she said further.
With Grotesquerie set to premiere with its first two episodes on September 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX, the excitement continues to build around both the show and the highly anticipated final performances of Taylor Swift’s tour.
