Tristan Thompson Receives Public Backlash for Nasty Comments to Ex Khloe Kardashian
Tristan Thompson has been on the receiving end of backlash lately. He failed to impress yet again not only his fans and followers but also the massive network of followers that the Kardashian-Jenner clan has. The basketball player was criticized after he made surprisingly mean and nasty comments about Khloe Kardashian, his ex-partner and the mother of his children.
The couple, who had a very publicized and controversial relationship, sat down and had an intimate chat in Khloe’s $17 million Los Angeles home where Tristan lives. The 32-year-old told her, “Sometimes, men don’t realize until they’re 40 or 50 when their train is already gone. Hopefully, my train hasn’t left.”
Thirty-nine-year-old Khloe responded with a roll of her eyes, “I absolutely hate your analogies.” During her confession, the socialite mother-of-two ranted, “These random one-liners… that have nothing to do with the situation at hand.”
Tristan fired back with, “It’s easier to sit in your own s**t than get out your sh** and wipe yourself off.”
Many fans were not pleased with Tristan’s behavior given that Khloe provided him and his younger special brother a home after their mother unexpectedly died. Fans on social media called him out, with one writing, “Kourtney sitting and watching Tristan lie to her face about being a changed man while giving a stone cold face when she knows he’s cheating rubbish.”
Another fan commented, “Nothing is more unattractive than a childish man! The biggest turnoff!”
Another follower agreed with, “Tristan’s just a massive child. He walks around like one, and whatever he’s saying here confirms it.”
After watching the two on the family’s reality show, The Kardashians, followers suspect that Khloe and Tristan are back together or are at the brink of a reunion.
The NBA player who was savaged by Khloe’s sister, Kourtney, during one of the show’s latest episodes had a lot of TV appearances during Season 4 of the show. The father of Khloe’s two children, 5-year-old True and 1-year-old Tatum, has undoubtedly earned the dislike of Khloe’s family after his publicized and repeated unfaithfulness.
On Reddit, fans referred to Tristan’s apology as the “apology tour.” Together with his increasing screen time on the family’s show, many believe that this may soon lead to a relaunch his relationship with Khloe.
One commenter wrote, “Does anyone else see how blatant the Kardashians have been about giving significant airtime to Tristan’s apology tour? I see no other logical conclusion than the fact that Tristan and Khloé are back together, and they will be revealing this news right as his character redemption arc comes to a completion and not a moment sooner.”
Another viewer said, “I’m sure both Khloé and Kris orchestrated the scenes where he makes his apologies to the ladies and talks about his new career with Kris.”
Another follower speculated that Khloe and Tristan may not have broken up at all given that Tristan and his younger brother Amari have been living under Khloe’s roof even if Tristan could well afford accommodations elsewhere.
Many are not happy with the prospect of Tristan and Khloe getting back together, not just because of Tristan’s history of cheating but because of his lack of respect for Khloe. They believe that the athlete’s apology was staged and that Khloe should move forward as a single mother.
