Victoria Beckham Gets Pranked In Hilarious Family Video
Victoria Beckham became the target of a playful family prank, courtesy of her husband, David Beckham and their kids. On August 8, David, 49, shared a video of the family taking part in the popular “Just Give Me My Money” social media trend.
In this trend, participants take turns saying, “Just give me my money,” and receive applause until the final person, who is met with awkward silence instead of cheers.
The video starts with the couple’s son, Romeo, 21, confidently saying, “Give me my money,” to which the family responded with enthusiastic applause. The next person followed suit, and again, the group clapped.
After David and their daughter Harper, 13, had their turns, it was finally Victoria’s moment. She eagerly bent down and then up, saying, “Give me my money,” while clapping her hands. However, the 50-year-old singer soon realized she was the only one clapping, leading to a burst of laughter from her family.
Turning to her side and seeing no one else clapping, Victoria couldn’t help but laugh at the prank. “Is that it?” she asked, joining in on the fun.
David shared the lighthearted moment on Instagram, captioning the post: “😆 sorry Mum 😆 @victoriabeckham @romeobeckham #HarperSeven 😆 @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham we got mum 😆.”
The game comes after Victoria gushed about her husband and told Vogue Australia all about how she can’t get enough of him.
“I love spending time with my husband. Let me tell you — David Beckham is very funny. I have a husband I very much am still in love with, possibly more than when we first met,” she stated.
Victoria and David have enjoyed a decades-long relationship filled with laughter and mutual support. Victoria praised their ability to “really laugh” together and highlighted how they continuously back each other in their careers and passions. She emphasized that she has never had to compromise her work and continues to do what she loves, thanks to David’s support.
Reflecting on their 25 years together, the former Spice Girl shared a touching moment with her family. “I said to [David] last night — and the kids — after 25 years, I love your dad so much and I support him and continue to want him to be the best version of himself, and he does that for me. It’s really important that the children see that.”
