Victoria Beckham Now Confident With Herself And What She’s Achieved
With all the fame and success, it is surprising that a celebrity like Victoria Beckham would feel insecure about herself. But it appears that even successful men and women also have their share of feeling inferior while growing up and Victoria Beckham is one of these celebrities.
Victoria Beckham mentioned her insecurity but has now finally found comfort with her identity. And when asked, the fashion designer revealed that she wouldn’t want to go back to her twenties again because back then, she was too focused on what she felt were her areas for improvement, but now, she has finally become more comfortable with who she is.
The television personality made a name for herself and rose to fame during the nineties as Posh Spice of the international girl group band, The Spice Girls. Then, after her musical success, she geared herself towards beauty and fashion and established a name for herself as a renowned fashion designer.
Victoria has fully embraced her look at 49 years old, but despite being happy and fully content with herself now, she revealed a little secret that her husband, David Beckham, has never seen her without fully done eyebrows. The designer mentioned, “David has never seen me without my brows. They’re the first thing I do: wake up, put on the brow.”
When asked about the inevitable aging process, Victoria shared with The Sunday Times, “I am comfortable with who I am, I accept how I look, and I make the best of what I have.”
She further explained that, at 49 years old, she is proud of what she has accomplished professionally and personally. She considers how she applies her makeup, but overall, she is happy with how she feels being older.
Victoria was also clear when she stated that she wouldn’t want to be a 25-year-old Victoria again, acknowledging that back then, she would look into the mirror and just see the areas that needed to be improved as opposed to what looked alright.
The mother-of-four continued, “I’ve always been quite tough on myself, but because of that I’ve also always strived to be the best version of myself. It’s not about changing anything, it’s just about looking at the best version of yourself.”
Today, Victoria has reinvented herself, and her signature style is a far cry from her Posh Spice days. Her fashion label has helped her establish a more confident and classic persona thanks to her elegant silhouettes, palazzo pants, flowy dresses and skirts, mostly in block colors.
The Glamour Award for Woman of the Year awardee admitted, though, that yes, she is embracing the process of aging but is happy with any interventions along the way, revealing that she gets skin tightening treatments and laser. The fashion designer, though, is keen on clarifying that this is not a way to turn back the clock.
She also revealed that she is keener on smaller and laid-back things now, like minimal makeup, because too much can actually make the person older.
