Wishes Pour in as Victoria Beckham Celebrates 50th Birthday
Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday was nothing short of a global event. Fans and friends wished the fashion icon a great year ahead. But the title of the best birthday wish goes to her husband, retired soccer star David Beckham.
In a sweet Instagram post, Beckham wished his wife a happy birthday by sharing a supercut of never-before-seen family videos with his wife. With The Bee Gees’ “More Than a Woman” playing in the background, the video also features their children Brooklyn, Romeo, Harper, and Cruz.
The caption accompanying the video reads, “Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife…As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved & what you have built, Posh Spice, businesswoman & of course marrying an England captain.”
Beckham goes on to add his appreciation for the mother of his children, writing, “But your biggest success are your children, you guide them, love them & teach them—they love you beyond words, we all love you so much x Have a special day you deserve it all. 50 and fit. I AM BEING HONEST.”
Even though the children made their own posts for their mother, the video was a treat for family, friends, and fans. It even included messages from the children from when they were toddlers. The eldest son, Brooklyn, can be seen wishing his mom, “Happy Birthday, Mommy, I love you so much,” while Romeo echoes, “I love you so much.”
Victoria reciprocated with, “I love you all so much.”
The pop-star-turned-fashion designer also took to her own Instagram account to share how she’s gearing up for an exciting new chapter. Here’s a snippet of her caption, “As I get ready to step into 50 (in heels, of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone. Blessed, but also accomplished and deeply content. Not just of where I am as a woman, but of how far my fashion and beauty brands have come.”
The post featured a photo of Beckham posing in a black bra and blazer combo as he showed off his toned physique.
The 50-year-old has had a long career from being a member of the Spice Girls to founding her fashion and cosmetics empire. Don’t forget that she also married a sports star.
The couple has been married for 24 years. They first met at a televised Spice Girls concert in 1996 and again in 1997 at a Manchester United game. Soon, news of their engagement made the headlines. They married and were expecting by 1999.
To this day, the celebrity couple is much loved by fans even if they’ve been in the limelight for a long time. This is easily evident in the Netflix documentary in 2023 that highlighted their married life.
