“You Look Hungry,” Kim And Khloe Kardashian Face Backlash Over New Skinny-Looking Photos
On Monday, February 13, Kim shared an Instagram photo of her and younger sister Khloe, looking skinner and stylish in the same outfit of different colors.
The pictures drew so many social media reactions from fans who believe that the sisters are using weight loss drugs to help them slim down. Over the years, they’ve denied claims of using weight loss drugs like Semaglutide, which is also known as Ozempic, Wegovy, or Rybelsus.
Some of the fans in the comment section accused the sisters of having shot an ad for the Ozempic brand. “An Ozempic ad is what I see here,” one of the comments accused the sisters.
Another comment under Kim’s post said, “Save some insulin for the people who actually need it.”
Some other angry commenter wrote, “What are y’all trying to see who can show all their ribs the fastest???wtf.”
However, some comments sounded nostalgic, with one commenter missing the sisters’ curvy looks from years ago.
Now how does their weight loss journey connect with insulin for diabetes patients? The Danish drug Ozempic, sold for $900 per dose, has an injectable version that can be used to shed some weight. Currently, the drug is only approved by the FDA as a type 2 diabetes treatment. However, many medical practitioners prescribe it off-label as a weight-loss remedy.
With the effectiveness of the drug, many wealthy people have been running to get their hands on it, thereby leading to the drug’s scarcity for diabetic patients who actually need them.
The negative comments under the post were too many, and none of the sisters directly reacted to the post. But it looks like Khloe has some things to share. On her Instagram story, the Good American co-founder shared two quotes and the second one reads: “What other people think of you is none of your business.”
Still, on Monday, Khloe shared a sexy bikini photo of herself on her Instagram page.
In the picture, the reality TV star is seen posing seductively in a high-waisted metallic silver bikini. Her ex Tristan Thompson was one of the people who reacted to the post, drawing a lot of attention from fans who wondered if the former couple had gotten back together again following his last cheating scandal.
Following the speculation, the mother-of-two did fans the favor of clearing up her dating status last week when she replied to a prying fan on Twitter. “Who has time for a man lol I have a 6-month-old baby, and True and I are sickly codependent on one another,” she said.
