Yungblud Shares Hilariously Awkward Coachella Photo Moment With Billie Eilish: “My Knob Was Out!”
Yungblud is telling a story that’ll make you laugh, cringe, and maybe double-check your own outfit next time you’re headed to a festival. The 27-year-old English rocker, whose real name Dominic Harrison, opened up on Lottie Moss’ Dream On podcast about an unforgettable and unfiltered moment from Coachella 2019 involving none other than Billie Eilish. Let’s just say, he ended up revealing way more than expected.
“So, here’s the story,” Yungblud began, setting the scene with his signature chaos. “I wear leather pants, obviously, right? And often I don’t wear underwear.” It was the kind of fashion choice that matched his punk spirit — and eventually led to a full-on wardrobe malfunction.
He had just switched into a pair of shorts — no underwear underneath, of course — before heading to a record label party at the desert festival. That’s when someone asked for a photo of him and Billie, who was also performing at Coachella that year.
In his words: “So, right, I’m at Coachella, and it’s hot in leather pants. I go to a record label party, and I’ve changed my shorts, but I’ve not got any underwear on. And I’m just like, ‘Alright, okay, I’ve got to be careful here because I’ve got shorts on.’ Someone’s like, ‘Yo, Billie, Yungblud, get together.’”

Yup. That happened.
Yungblud said he didn’t even realize until later — when he saw the photo in a magazine. “How has someone not gone, ‘Hang on a sec. His f—ing knob’s down the side of his leg?’” he laughed, still clearly shocked years later.
Though the pair haven’t collaborated musically (yet), Yungblud did appear in Billie’s Overheated documentary in 2022. Both artists were part of the 2019 Coachella lineup — Billie with her own show-stopping set and Yungblud performing a remix during Kayzo’s set.
Now, years after the photo blunder, Yungblud is preparing to release his new album Idols on June 20, featuring the singles Hello Heaven, Hello and Lovesick Lullaby.
