Zendaya Shines On Red Carpet Despite Last-Minute Wardrobe Crisis

Zendaya has once again wowed fans with her impeccable fashion sense this week, proving the widely accepted notion that she never fails to deliver a stunning red carpet look. Attending the Bulgari Hotel Roma opening in Rome, the 26-year-old actress turned heads with her striking outfit — a relaxed-fitted black Valentino suit adorned with iridescent glitter. 

Collaborating with image architect Law Roach, Zendaya paired the suit with a fishnet top embellished with reflective rhinestones and elegant pointed-toe stilettos.

While the Euphoria star looked effortlessly put together, little did people know that her glamorous appearance was the result of a last-minute scramble. Prior to the event, the actress took to her Instagram Story to reveal that her dress for the prestigious occasion had gone missing during transit, leaving her with no outfit just hours before the party.

In a photo she shared, capturing only a glimpse of her outfit and her beautifully curled bob, Zendaya captioned, “Fun fact… my dress for tonight’s @bulgarihotels event got lost in transit, so we got this suit an hour before the event.” She also expressed her gratitude to Maison Valentino, stating, “When in doubt… a @maisonvalentino suit 🙂 @luxurylaw,” commending the Italian fashion house for coming to her rescue.

Zendaya has been establishing a strong presence in the fashion industry, forging partnerships with renowned luxury brands. It comes as no surprise that her collaboration with Valentino continues to flourish, with the two having previously worked together on campaigns and red carpet looks.

Earlier this year, Zendaya graced the 2023 SAG Awards in a breathtaking Old Hollywood-inspired pink gown adorned with rose appliqués. The creation, aptly named the Rose Roses dress, took the creative director of Valentino, Pierpaolo Piccioli, and his team on a meticulous journey of design and craftsmanship. Sharing a video of Zendaya posing in the stunning masterpiece, Piccioli detailed the intricate process: “1230 Hours of global work, 190 hand-embroidered roses, 5 hours of sewing for each one, 42 people involved in the making, 1 catch up in Rome with Z and Law, and a final stunning red carpet.”

Adding a touch of elegance to Zendaya’s ensemble, Law Roach, a longtime collaborator and image architect, adorned her satin look with an exquisite Bulgari gemstone necklace. Fans speculated about the duo’s relationship following Law’s retirement from celebrity styling in March, but he swiftly silenced the rumors and reaffirmed their unbreakable bond. In a series of pointed tweets, Law wrote, “So y’all really think I’m breaking up with Z… we are forever! She’s my little sister, and it’s real love, not the fake industry love.”
