A$AP Rocky And Rihanna Announce Baby No. 3

Rihanna didn’t just bring fashion to the 2025 Met Gala — she brought big news. The music and fashion icon is expecting her third child with partner A$AP Rocky, and they revealed it in true Rihanna style: dramatically, fashionably, and right on the red carpet.

Before she even stepped into the spotlight, her photographer Miles Diggs teased the surprise by posting a stunning photo of Rihanna standing in the rain, her baby bump clearly showing. 

Once the couple arrived at the Met, Rocky, who also served as a co-chair for this year’s event, proudly confirmed the news. “It feels amazing,” he told reporters, beaming. “It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up.”

The rapper added with a smile, “And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us, ’cause we definitely happy, you know.”

This new chapter continues a beautiful family journey for Rihanna, 37, and Rocky, 36, who are already parents to two sons: RZA Athelston, who turns 3 this month, and 21-month-old Riot Rose. And according to Rihanna, Rocky shines even brighter as a dad. “I love him differently as a dad,” she told Page Six back in December. “It’s just like, wow. What a leader, what a great, patient, loving… and my kids are obsessed with him.”

The couple’s love story keeps finding creative ways to bloom — not just through fashion or music, but through their growing family. In fact, when asked last year if they might collaborate on a Puma project, Rocky cheekily replied, “I think we do a real great job at collaborating and making children. I think that’s our best creation so far.”

Rihanna has a knack for show-stopping baby reveals. Who could forget her legendary Super Bowl Halftime Show performance in 2023 when she revealed her second pregnancy with a bold red outfit and an unzipped jumpsuit that showed off her belly? Now, she’s brought that same magic to the steps of the Met.

And she might not be done yet. In an interview with Interview Magazine this April, when asked how many more kids she wanted, Rihanna said simply, “As many as God wants me to have.” 

Asked if she would want a girl, she responded, “I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
