Donald Trump Walks Daughter Down The Aisle As Tiffany Trump Weds Lebanese American Businessman Michael Boulos
Former President Donald Trump’s daughter, Tiffany Trump and her fiance Michael Boulos have taken the next step on their love journey as they tied the knot on Saturday. Tiffany is the only daughter Trump shares with actress Marla Maples with whom he was married from 1993 to 1999. The wedding was held at her family’s Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Florida, with her parents and half-siblings, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Barron Trump, and Eric Trump in attendance, as reported by People. The family opted for the venue because it was where Tiffany’s birthplace and childhood home.
Tiffany, 29, and Michael, 25, began dating in 2018 after meeting in Greece. Michael is the son of a wealthy Lebanese family with businesses in Nigeria, including Boulos Enterprises and SCOA Nigeria, a company that engages in automobile assembly, leasing, and distribution, power generation, retailing and trade. On his Instagram bio are flags of the U.S., Lebanon, France, and Nigeria.
Tiffany made the relationship public in January 2019 with a photo of the both of them standing behind a Christmas tree in the Red Room.
In 2021, the couple got engaged after Michael proposed to the youngest Trump daughter in the White House Rose Garden. The 29-year-old had announced her engagement with a photo of her and Michael smiling. “It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiance Michael! Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!” the caption read.
Michael also posted the same photo on Instagram and wrote, “Got engaged to the love of my life! Looking forward to our next chapter together.”
Photos from the Saturday wedding showed the bride looking bubbly and stunning in a long-sleeve wedding dress by Elie Saab. Tiffany’s dress choice was about more than just looking dazzling on her big day. Mom Marla explained that the dress was a sort of homage to Michael’s Lebanese heritage. “It’s a Lebanese American wedding, so we were so happy to have Elie Saab create the magic,” she said. Marla’s lavender dress was also from the designer.
Like the venue, Tiffany also opted for a wedding cake with ties to her childhood. The cake was a recreation of the custom, 7-foot-tall Sylvia Weinstock cake Donald and Marla used at their wedding in 1993 when Tiffany was a newborn.
As dictated by tradition, Donald walked the bride down the aisle. He also participated in a father-daughter dance. The mother of the bride led a prayer during the service, and according to People, Ivanka, Donald’s first daughter, was also involved in preparations for the wedding. She was reportedly a part of the bridal party and offered “total support” to see to the wedding’s success.
