Emily Ratajkowski Says Men Can’t Handle Strong Women As She Complains She Attracts “The Worst Men”
After her divorce from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, and split from ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, Emily Ratajkowski shares her thoughts about the kind of men she attracts. According to the actress, she believes she attracts “the worst men.”
Recently speaking on her High Low podcast, Emily said that her biggest problem with dating lies with men.
“That’s what I hate with dating … men in particular,” she stated.
The Blurred Lines star finds it weird that men say they like and want an independent woman” only to later tear her down when they get her. “They’re like, ‘OK, yes, you’re special. You’ve done it.’ And they love it and love it, and then slowly they get emasculated and don’t know what to do with those feelings, and then they resent you.”
According to her, most men who think they want a strong woman do not know how to navigate relationships with such women. “They start to tear you down, and then you’re back to square one. And it’s so f**ked up and unfair, because I feel like a lot of men who truly think they want a strong woman actually don’t know how to handle it and… what it means for their own identity,” she continued.
While Emily did not mention names in her rant, all thoughts flow to Pete, from whom she split in December after only a few weeks of dating. The romance reportedly ended right after Christmas.
According to Page Six, a source said, “Their fling has moved into the friends zone [, and that’s] fine with both of them.”
Davidson and the model-turned-actor initially got linked in November after her separation from Sebastian in September. They had been pictured together at a New York Knicks game on November 27
Having been married to Sebastian for four years with one-year-old son Sylvester between them, Emily has been dating other men. Pete, on his end, has been with a string of A-list stars, including Ariana Grande, Kaia Gerber, Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, and Phoebe Dynevor. The most recent before Emily was Kim Kardashian, from whom he split last August.
After their breakup, Emily and Pete have both been spotted with other people. The 29-year-old former Saturday Night Live star was seen with Bodies Bodies Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders on multiple outings. Only last week, Emily was sighted with artist Jack Greer on an outing. Last month, she reportedly went on a date with DJ Orazio Rispo.
