Hailey Whitters Pregnant With First Baby With Husband Jake Gear
Hailey Whitters has a new tour on the way and a baby boy, too. The 35-year-old country singer revealed over the weekend that she and husband Jake Gear are expecting their first child. Sharing the news in a joint Instagram post on August 24, Hailey wrote, “Our greatest production yet 🤍 baby boy coming in Nov!”
The photos show her glowing in a yellow mini-dress, cradling her baby bump while cozying up with Jake in a cornfield, a fitting backdrop for the Corn Queen artist, who is about to launch her Corn Queen Tour in Nashville on September 4. The tour runs through October 11, wrapping in Chicago, just weeks before the couple welcomes their son.
The cornfield setting also nods to Hailey and Jake’s love story. They got engaged in an Iowa cornfield in 2020, tied the knot in 2022 at a small country church in her hometown of Shueyville, and celebrated with a reception on her father’s farm. “Said yes to forever in a field somewhere,” Hailey captioned her wedding photos at the time.
Fans and fellow country stars flooded the announcement with excitement. Caylee Hammack joked, “OMG!! WEE BABY CORNCOB COMING!!! Congratulations, you are truly glowing🧡,” while Lauren Alaina added, “This is amazing ❤️❤️❤️.”
The pregnancy news comes a few months after Hailey went viral for a very different reason — she accidentally used a bathroom where a bat was hiding. The incident ended with five rabies shots, which she documented in a TikTok that quickly spread online. As she wrote in the video, “She doesn’t know it yet, but she’s about to get five rabies shots from peeing in this toilet before she knew there was a bat in there.”
Now, with new music, a tour, and a baby on the way, Hailey’s next season looks brighter than ever.
