Hailie Jade Showcases Nursery As She And Husband Evan McClintock Prepare For Baby Boy
Hailie Jade Scott is about to embark on her most exciting journey yet – motherhood! The 28-year-old daughter of rapper Eminem is expecting her first child with her husband, Evan McClintock, and the couple couldn’t be more thrilled.
On October 28, Hailie took to Instagram to give fans a glimpse of what she and Evan have been working on before the arrival of their baby. In the post, she shared two sweet photos of the couple sitting on the floor of an empty room, laughing together while holding paintbrushes.
Above them, on the wall, the words “Mom + Dad 2025” are written in white paint, a clear hint that the duo is working on a nursery for their little one.
“Our family is growing by two little feet 👣,” Hailie captioned the post, adding, “This will be the most special project yet 🤍”
The couple’s excitement has been building over the past few weeks. On October 11, during an episode of Hailie’s podcast Just A Little Shady, the couple revealed the sex of their baby. To share the news, they popped a balloon filled with confetti. As blue confetti rained down, they joyfully announced, “It’s a boy!”
Hailie couldn’t help but share how excited her husband is to have a son, jokingly saying, “When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me. They’re going to go golfing with me. I’ve got a little buddy.’ I was like, ‘Okay well they’re still going to Target with me.”
The excitement extends to Hailie’s famous dad, too. Earlier in the month, Eminem, 51, shared a heartwarming music video for his song Temporary, featuring old home videos of his daughter. Towards the end of the video, there’s an emotional moment where Hailie surprises her dad with the news of her pregnancy. In the footage, she hands Eminem a blue football jersey with the word “Grandpa” written on the back, along with a sonogram image. His reaction is priceless — his jaw drops, his eyes widen, and he can’t help but tear up at the incredible news.
