JoJo Siwa And TikTok Content Creator Avery Cyrus Make It Official
Ever since JoJo Siwa broke the internet by coming out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, her dating life has been under the spotlight. Her followers became her biggest supporters, and the “D.R.E.A.M” singer looks like she’s embracing it all.
After breaking up with Kylie Prew—for a second time, mind you—the “Dance Moms” star seemingly has a new love interest. She seems to be struck by TikTok creator Avery Cyrus, who has nearly 8 million followers. It’s unclear when the pair became a couple, but they have been teasing it on social media since August.
The two lip-synced to an old recording of Kourtney Kardashian, the new sustainability ambassador for Boohoo, and her ex Scott Disick. Kim says the two were just friends, while the Talentless founder echoed the sentiment by saying their relationship was “purely platonic.” The audio ends with Kourtney laughing, and many believe the exchange was steeped in sarcasm.
JoJo captioned the post, “This audio was made for us…@averycyrus,” so the pair clearly knew what they were doing with this one.
The two have also been spotted in Disneyland, and their relationship seemed so strong that Cyrus even accompanied Siwa on her family trip! Of course, the rumors about the relationship were the product of guesswork until the singer and content creator made things official. They confirmed their relationship in a PDA-filled TikTok that showed the two kissing.
The clip was posted on Monday, September 12, with the caption “Happiest Girl.” It showed JoJo Siwa and Avery Cyrus goofing around in a Chuck E. Cheese photo booth that turns pictures into sketches. For “the moment v/s the picture” post, the duo smiled for the camera for the first pic, then shared a kiss. Aww.
Jojo also posted a clip of the duo performing a TikTok dance, saying she was very proud of her lady love for learning the routine. The J Team star captioned the post, “I have to share so you can see her CUTEST HAPPY FACE!!! That SMILEEEEE.”
Avery also posted a clip on TikTok of her text exchange with JoJo a couple of days ago. In it, the Nickelodeon star wrote that she wasn’t feeling her best and needed a hug, then snapped to Avery, who traveled out to cheer her up with a loving embrace.
That grand gesture is sure to put anyone in their feels!
This happy change in Siwa’s life came almost two months after she broke up with Prew, the same month Avery Cyrus’ ex-girlfriend TikToker Soph Mosca announced the split. There’s no bad blood between the ex-lovers, as Prew would like to remind you.
Kylie, 18, went on Instagram Live—which has since been recorded and reposted on TikTok—to clear the air about their split.
“It’s not deep, I promise,” she said. “Everything’s fine. Not everything has to be messy and gross because it’s not, and I just want to clear the air. We’re both safe, and happy, and healthy and that’s all that matters. And it doesn’t need to be drama because that just gives everyone unwanted anxiety, especially if they’re like me.”
