Josh Allen Says Hailee Steinfeld’s Engagement Ring Is Already Perfect

Josh Allen has no plans to upgrade Hailee Steinfeld’s engagement ring because she already loves the one she has! Even after becoming the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL, the 28-year-old Buffalo Bills star is standing by his original pick.

During a livestream interview with 7 News WKBW on March 12, a reporter jokingly asked Josh if he planned to spend some of his new $330 million contract extension on a “bigger ring” for his fiancée. Laughing at the question, Josh responded, “A bigger ring, you said? Uh, nah, I think she likes the one she’s got.”

Josh and Hailee, both 28, got engaged in November 2023 and announced the news with a romantic Instagram post. The Pitch Perfect actress shared a dreamy photo of Josh proposing at sunset in Malibu, surrounded by candles and a stunning rose-covered arch.

Hailee later revealed in a Who What Wear interview that Josh gave her a heads-up before the big moment. “I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good,” she said, “and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’”

Even though she had no idea what was coming, Hailee said the proposal was “magical.” She called Malibu her “happy place” and said the entire moment felt like a dream.

The couple first sparked dating rumors in May 2023 before going public with their relationship in July 2024. Since then, they’ve kept things mostly private but made their first official red carpet appearance together at the NFL Honors in February — where Josh took home the MVP award.

Hailee proudly celebrated her fiancé’s big win on Instagram, posting, “That’s MVP Josh Allen to you!” Josh sweetly responded in the comments with a simple, “I love you ❤️‍🔥.”
