Kevin Love And Kate Bock Share Sweet News: Baby #2 Is On The Way!

NBA star Kevin Love and his wife, model Kate Bock, are about to expand their family! The couple, both 36, revealed they are expecting their second child in a heartwarming series of posts shared on December 12.

Kate took to Instagram with a creative announcement captioned “PART I • PART II.” The post included two elegant black-and-white photos highlighting her baby bump — one from her first pregnancy and one from her current one. Over on TikTok, she shared a slideshow set to Ole 60’s Thoughts of You, writing, “Last December was our first holiday with our newborn. This December, I’m pregnant with her younger sibling.”

While the couple has remained tight-lipped about further details, the pair’s excitement was evident. Vogue had recently captured the duo attending Art Basel in Miami on December 8, where Kate cleverly concealed her bump with a large clutch bag during their photos.

The Miami Heat forward and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit alum are already proud parents to an 18-month-old, born in June 2023. Kevin first shared the news of their first child’s birth during a press interview after missing Game 5 of the NBA Finals that year. “Everybody’s happy and healthy,” he said, adding humorously, “Definitely need to get some rest now, get some sleep.”

Though private about their parenting journey, Kevin and Kate occasionally share glimpses of their life with their little one. Shortly after their baby’s birth, Kevin posted a touching photo of himself holding the newborn, simply captioned with a pair of tiny footprints, “👣.” Kate echoed the sentiment, sharing the same image on her Instagram Story, sweetly writing, “Mine.”

Kevin and Kate, who tied the knot on June 25, 2022, in a glamorous wedding at the New York Public Library, continue to cherish their journey as a family. The venue, a nod to their shared love for literature, art, and history, held special meaning for the couple. “The city is so much a part of our story,” Kate told PEOPLE at the time, adding that “it felt so right to bring all of our favorite people together into such an iconic New York City institution.”
