Pete Davidson “Feels Like Sh–” Post Breakup With Kim Kardashian
“What . . . I feel like shit!” reads Pete Davidson’s t-shirt as he’s spotted in Australia shooting for his upcoming movie Wizards. Could the famously carefree comedian be hinting at his feelings after his breakup with girlfriend Kim Kardashian?
News of Kim and Pete splitting up has left us all considerably shocked. The two shared a nine-month-long happy, playful, and loving relationship. What could have gone wrong?
Sources close to the ex-couple share some insights into their breakup. “Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids,” says one insider.
The 41-year-old businesswoman, socialite, and mother of four also has a lot on her plate at the moment. Apart from juggling the responsibility of having children, she recently released a swimwear line through her label SKIMS. A source adds she was, “totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life.”
Despite the breakup, the two are choosing to be friends. According to confirmed sources, “they have a lot of love and respect for each other,” and it’s only the long distance and hectic schedules that “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
The two started their whirlwind romance in October 2021, right after their SNL sketch in which they co-starred as Aladdin and Jasmine. They shared their first kiss on screen in that segment.
“When we kissed, I was just like ‘Mmm!’ It was a stage kiss, but it was still a little zing. I was like, ‘Wow, I really haven’t kissed anyone else in 10 years, so maybe I’m just like being stupid and it’s nothing, it’s just a stage kiss,” said Kim on a podcast with Amanda Hirsch way back.
For those of us following their relationship, we’re no stranger to Pete’s Aladdin and Jasmine tattoo — which he got briefly after they started dating. He also has the initials “knscp” tattooed on him, which could be the initials of Kim and her four children.
Pete has also been open about his dream to be a dad. On a podcast with Kevin Hart, he got candid about wanting to dress up his own kids and take care of them because he lost his father at a young age.
The couple would vacation together and have shared many cute moments on Instagram. Kim also flew down to Australia to meet her boyfriend while he was shooting for Wizards. It does seem like they shared a genuine bond and tried to make it work.
Even though they’ve decided to call it quits, we fans can see their relationship play out once more in Season 2 of The Kardashians. Pete continues filming alongside Orlando Bloom in Australia for his new movie Wizards, all set to release in 2023. The Kardashians Season 2 will premiere this September.
