Pregnant Jessie J is Over the Moon About Rainbow Baby!
Jessie J recently revealed that she’s pregnant again. This news followed the singer’s unfortunate miscarriage nearly 13 months ago.
The 34-year-old singer shared the happy news through a video on her Instagram account of her growing bump. Jessie was understandably emotional and showed the different stages of her pregnancy.
In her post, Jessie said, “I am so happy and terrified to share this finally…Please be gentle with me.”
Her caption further stated, “Honestly, ya girl just wants to ugly cry in public in a catsuit eating a chocolate-covered pickle with no questions asked.”
In the background, we can hear one of her songs, Sunflower, as Jessie holds up her positive pregnancy test. The video also includes Jessie’s first baby scan seen on the screen.
In this video showing Jessie’s pregnancy milestones, Jessie can be seen cradling her baby bump as she smiles at the camera. And the soon-to-be mother’s excitement is visible on her face. As of now, the baby’s due date is not yet revealed.
Friends and fans of the Price Tag singer were quick to express their happiness and left many positive and celebratory comments on her post.
Plenty of congratulatory messages were also left by fellow hit makers. Kelly Rowland commented, “AHHHHHHHHH SCREAMING CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!!”
A heartfelt message was also left by Ruby Rose, who said, “When you told me — in my heart I’d hearts I felt the most gratitude.. you deserve this beyond belief xxx.”
Stacy Solomon commented, “Oh Jessie, I’m so happy for you. Love you” while Paloma Faith commented how it was the best news ever.
Pixie Loft called Jessie the super mama of the century, and Michelle Visage expressed how thrilled she was with Jessie’s pregnancy announcement.
Last year, around April, Jessie confirmed that she was in a relationship with Chanan Colman, a Danish-Israeli professional basketball player. They were seen on a lunch date in Los Angeles locking lips. This was several months after news of Jessie’s miscarriage.
In March 2022, rumors of the two going out began floating around after they visited Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the Caribbean. It was a work trip for Jessie, but she was joined by Chanan. Photos of the two getting cozy with each other during the Caribbean trip were also posted on Jessie’s Instagram.
During the second quarter of last year, Jessie made a profound revelation sharing that Chanan is the first partner she’s actually “properly” in love with. As a guest on the podcast, The Diary of a CEO, the singer was a little coy about sharing the details of her love life. While answering questions, she was careful about how much she was revealing about her relationships.
When Steven Bartlett, the host of the show, asked Jessie how many times she had fallen in love, genuinely fallen in love, the singer candidly answered, “Once. Because I can actually see my life with that person, and I’ve never had that before.” When Steven commented, “Sounds recent,” Jessie replied, “Maybe it is.” It’s safe to say her relationship with Chanan seems to have a promising future.
Jessie’s pregnancy has been exhilarating news, one that any woman would hope for after suffering a miscarriage, which Jessie did in November 2021. She lost her unborn and first child after her third scan when her doctors could not find a heartbeat.
The loss of the baby came after Jessie called it quits with then-boyfriend Max Pham. Despite the tragic loss, Jessie pushed through with her performance in Los Angeles only a week later, claiming that even if she’s still in shock, singing helps her.
