Sophia Vergara Is Enjoying Life With Her New Beau—Surgeon Justin Saliman
Sophia Vergara was definitely all woman, showing her sexy and confident self while she was snapped enjoying date night with Justin Saliman, her new surgeon boyfriend. The two loved-up couple were spotted heading out to dinner at Giorgio Baldi, a celebrity favorite in Santa Monica.
The 51-year-old Modern Family actress looked gorgeous during her outing. She wore a cheetah print skirt paired with a black top that highlighted her figure.
The Columbian native carried a classic Chanel handbag and wore her hair down. Justin also looked dashing in his grey shirt, black pants, and long black coat.
This year, Sofia made plenty of changes in her life, including a divorce from her husband of eight years, Joe Manganiello. According to a few reports, the two split because Joe wanted kids and Sofia didn’t.
In the last month, the America’s Got Talent judge seems to be back on the dating scene. She’s been going out with her Beverly Hills-based orthopedic surgeon. Sofia was first spotted with her beau last October at Funke, Beverly Hills.
Meanwhile, an insider shared with People that Sofia is having fun and dating. The same source revealed that the actress has been full of energy and optimism. Known for her unapologetic attitude on and off screen, Sofia has been described as handling her divorce pretty well. The source further shared that the decision to separate from her husband was not easy but that the actress was doing better.
Justin, on the other hand, is not a newbie when it comes to being in relationships with actresses. He married Bree Turner in 2008 with whom he shares two children, 13-year-old Stella and 11-year-old Dean.
The two divorced after a decade of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
The orthopedic surgeon grew up in Denver, Colorado, and earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He then pursued his sports medicine fellowship and completed it at Stanford University.
While studying in California, he worked with the athletic teams of Stanford and Santa Clara University, as well as for the San Francisco 49ers.
Though Justin has dated actresses before, he’s managed to keep his personal life under wraps. For instance, his age hasn’t been confirmed though the general guess is he’s around 49 years old.
One source revealed that Sofia is moving fast with her new relationship because she has completely fallen in love with the doctor. An insider shared with one publication, “Sofia has moved on from Joe and would be happy never to see him again. Her relationship with Justin has made her never look back.”
Justin complements Sofia well thanks to his looks and charm. It’s also a bonus that he has an incredible job that is unrelated to Hollywood. He has been described as very confident and Sofia seems to be enjoying his company.
A close friend of Sofia clarified that Justin is “way more than a rebound.” The two have “bonded on love lost and are just having a complete blast with each other.”
