Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Make Rare Public Appearance In Philly
It looks like love is still in the air and maybe a little sunshine too for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The superstar couple was spotted out and about in Philadelphia on Sunday, May 11, marking their first public sighting together in nearly two months.
Fans snapped photos of the duo strolling through the City of Brotherly Love, where Taylor rocked a sleek black tank top with a matching purse, and Travis kept it casual in a cream-colored shirt. His noticeably longer hair (thanks to the NFL offseason) didn’t go unnoticed either.
The last time these two were seen out in public was way back on March 14, when they were photographed heading into a New York City restaurant. Since then, it seems Taylor and Travis have been laying low and enjoying some much-needed downtime together.
“They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,” a source close to the couple shared in April, adding, “They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.”
According to the same insider, the bond between Taylor and Travis is stronger than ever. According to the source, the two are very serious and totally in sync.
“They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight,” the insider shared.
Though fans were hoping to see them turn heads at this year’s Met Gala, the couple ended up skipping the glamorous event. Sources say they were invited but had to decline due to busy schedules — which, for Travis, might include spending time with Taylor somewhere sunnier than usual.
In fact, during a recent episode of the New Heights podcast he co-hosts with his brother Jason, Travis and his mom Donna shared a cute little moment that hinted at his secretive travels. When Donna, 72, pointed out her son looked unusually tan, she asked, “You look a little dark, Trav. You have a tan?”
Travis, caught off guard, mumbled something about being in his “cubicle” and added, “I’m everywhere. I’m everywhere, mommy.” Donna wasn’t buying it and replied with a knowing smile, “Got it. Looks like you guys were having fun.”
