Tom Brady And Gisele Bündchen Amidst Divorce Rumors
Tom Brady is back on the football field starting Sunday for his 23rd season in the NFL, and many football enthusiasts and fans are happy about his comeback. But at the same time, many wonder if his model wife, Giselle Bündchen, will be there supporting and cheering him as she did countless times before.
The 42-year-old supermodel is not all pleased about her husband, who plays quarterback, going back to the field. She is unhappy when Tom is “un-retired” from the NFL, and this has caused massive tension between the couple.
Amidst the divorce rumors, fans of the beautiful couple can find some relief in the news that the two are trying to sort it out, work through things, and try to come out the other side still as husband and wife. Tom was excused from joining the pre-season training last August so he could handle some personal things.
The seven-time Super Bowl athlete was asked a question in August regarding his August 27 absence. The father of three answered that everything was personal at the moment and that he was faced with different situations that he needed to deal with.
According to Tom, “We all have unique challenges in our life. I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of s**t going on, so just gotta figure out life the best you can. It’s a continuous process.”
Tom shares two children with Gisele, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. He has an older son, 15-year-old Jack, from his previous girlfriend, Bridget Moynihan. Earlier this year, the supposedly retired quarterback surprised football fans when he changed his heart about his retirement from the sport.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stated that he realized plenty of things in the last two months and acknowledged that his heart is still on the field—in the heart of the game and not just a mere spectator in the stands. He further shared in his March 13 social media post, “That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business, LFG.”
At that time, Gisele left a comment on his post, “Here we go again! Let’s go, lovvvey! Let’s go, Bucs!” Everyone saw this as a sign of support from his wife, who is seen watching and cheering Tom on most of his games.
But come May, Gisele seemed to have a change of heart, and she commented that raising children with a professional athlete is not ideal. She shared that this setup is not the “fairy tale” people think it is.
And during the model’s British Vogue interview, she shared that it takes work to be in sync with somebody, especially after having kids. During the candid interview, the Brazilian beauty further stated, “His focus is on his career; mine is mostly on the kids. And I’m very grateful that he lets me take the reins regarding our family. He trusts my decisions.”
Tom has always been open about his wife’s feelings towards his enduring football career, and if it were up to Gisele, she would have him retired already but too bad because he is still having too much fun.
