Tristan Thompson Appears With A Black Eye in Los Angeles, Khloe Kardashian Says She’s Forgiven Him
Tristan Thompson was seen last Sunday in Los Angeles, sporting a painful black eye. This comes several weeks after his ex-partner, Khloe Kardashian, became the bigger person and shared that she has forgiven Tristan. He cheated on her not just once but on multiple instances throughout their relationship.
There was no statement released for the bruising seen on the basketball player’s left eye. But with the NBA season about to kick off, it is likely that the 31-year-old NBA free agent sustained an injury while training.
He did feel conscious and attempted to cover his black eye using a towel placed over his head, but the tactic didn’t work on the 6’9″ player. It was apparent he was trying to hide something.
Tristan was seen sporting a pair of white Just Don x Miami Heat basketball shorts during his LA outing, sparking speculations about which team has signed him up.
At this point, Tristan may feel that a considerable weight (of guilt) is off his shoulders, given that Khloe has forgiven him for all his controversial liaisons. Khloe even explained why she kept forgiving Tristan for his infidelity on an episode of her family’s reality show, The Kardashians.
According to the 38-year old businesswoman, getting cheated on by her partner did not hurt her as much as clinging onto her resentments towards the NBA player did.
The estranged couple is parents to 4-year-old True Thompson and another baby boy born through a surrogate. The boy has not been named yet.
When asked how she came about with a forgiving mindset, Khloe casually answered that perhaps it was all due to practice.
The Good American founder also mentioned that it is critical to let go and stop holding on to the hurt to move on. And there was a lot that Khloe needed to let go of, given the very controversial circumstances in which her ex-partners were involved.
From Lamar being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol to Tristan’s public cheating scandals, Khloe’s love life seems to be a train wreck. But being able to forgive the men she loved after all the hurt they caused her is admirable indeed. And Khloe has set an excellent precedent for many young women struggling with their personal lives.
