2022 MTV Video Music Awards Nominations Are Out — Here Are the Top Nominees
Now that the MTV Video Music Award nominations have been released, there are a few artists who stand out with the highest number of nominations.
Jack Harlow
Jack Harlow has been nominated for Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best Choreography. Most of these nominations come from his collaboration with Lil Nas X on “INDUSTRY BABY” for both the song and the music video.
Jack Harlow is an American rapper who has made a name for himself with his smooth rapping and boyish charms that seem to enchant his fans and anyone he meets. Harlow recently released an album titled Come Home The Kids Miss You.
Lil Nas X
Lil Nas X has been nominated for Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best Choreography. Most of these nominations come from his collaboration with Jack Harlow on “INDUSTRY BABY” for both the song and the music video.
Lil Nas X is both a rapper and a singer, and is known for his hit song “Old Town Road,” which went viral in 2019. Lil Nas X recently released a single that was about his feud with the BET Awards after he failed to receive any nominations.
Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar has been nominated for Best Hip-Hop, Video for Good, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best Editing. Lamar has actually been nominated twice for Best Cinematography for a solo work and a collaboration.
Kendrick Lamar recently released an album titled Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers just this year.
Harry Styles
Harry Styles has been nominated for Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Pop, Best Cinematography, Best Direction, and Best Choreography. All of his nominations come from his recent album release, Harry’s House.
Doja Cat
Doja Cat has been nominated for Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Art Direction, Best Choreography, and Best Editing.
Doja Cat has recently released a song for the new Elvis movie, where she collaborated with several other artists.
