The news was shared on Instagram by the official Taylor Nation account with a playful message: “We’re so depressed we act like it’s #ICanDoItWithABrokenHeart’s birthday every day! But today is special because Taylor’s declaring it the next single from #TSTTPD!” They added, “Lights, camera, bitch, listen to see the cute new cover on all streaming platforms.”
The cover art for the new releases features Taylor, 34, dazzling in the sparkly outfit she wears during her live performances of the song, surrounded by feathered fans.
Just a week prior, on July 9, Taylor treated her audience to a stripped-down acoustic version of Fortnight, featuring Post Malone. Alongside this, she dropped an upbeat remix with New York indie-pop duo Cults, infusing the track with bright, lively instrumentation.
Taylor is currently captivating audiences on the international leg of her Eras Tour, with upcoming shows in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, from July 17 through July 19. She will continue her tour across Germany, Poland, Austria, and England, wrapping up the European leg on August 20 before returning to North America from October 18 through December 8.
