Taylor Swift Surprises Fans By Performing at HAIM Concert
Taylor Swift has returned to the stage with a live performance after joining HAIM at their concert. Swift surprised fans with her appearance.
It has been quite some time since Taylor Swift has performed live. She has played some acoustic songs at a few random places, like the Tribeca Film Festival. But it has been at least a year since she has gotten the chance to fully captivate a stage with her theatrical presence.
HAIM introduced Taylor to the stage by pausing in the middle of their song, “Gasoline,” to bring her out to the crowd. The HAIM sisters and Taylor Swift then mixed parts of Taylor’s hit song “Love Story” into the performance, creating a fun mash-up that made the fans go wild.
Not only did Taylor sing with the sisters, she also matched with them. The friends all performed together in black crop tops and belted leather pants, giving off an edgy chic that only they could collectively pull off.
Fans noted that the outfit looked similar to many of the outfits that Taylor wore during her “Reputation” era. This has some fans speculated that that album will be next on Taylor’s list to re-record and release. There has been no official confirmation of this claim.
Taylor Swift has been very busy over the past couple of years, despite performing very little. She recently released a single, “Carolina”, for the movie Where the Crawdads Sing. Swift has also been working to re-record each of her previous albums, due to the rights being sold to someone else before Swift had the chance to buy them.
Fans are anticipating new music from Taylor Swift soon, whether it be a new re-recording or a completely new album, which would be her 10th brand new album released. If she is starting to perform on stage again, there is also the hope that she may announce a stadium tour for 2023.
