A New Horror Movie Has Been Announced With a Cast Full of Disney Stars
The film Howdy, Neighbor! has a cast full of Disney alumni, along with the people involved in the production and film creation process. Matthew Scott Montgomery, from So Random!, is the creator and writer of this movie.
The LGBTQ+ horror movie will be a “screenlife” movie, which means that the entire film will be shown through people’s screens. So viewers will piece together the story of the movie through different video chat calls, internet searches, messages sent, and any other screen being shown.
The movie is about a former child actor who investigates a new overly familiar neighbor that happens to be a fan. There will probably be many dark twists and thrilling encounters that we have yet to learn about, since this film is in the early stages of production.
The film will feature several Jessie stars, including Kevin Chamberlin and Debby Ryan. Debby Ryan was just in another thrilling movie titled Night Teeth, which involved vampires and violence.
Alyson Stoner, who voice acted in Phineas and Ferb and starred in Camp Rock, is also going to be in this movie. Both Shayne Topp and Allisyn Snyder from So Random! are on the cast list as well.
With former child actors playing former child actors, we can only imagine that they will be able to showcase the role perfectly. Some of the events that happen in the film are said to be related to real events that some of the stars had to experience.
Aside from the many former Disney alumni, Adam Faison, Kimmy Shields, and Sterling Sulieman will be joining the cast as supporting characters. The cast is full of many ages and demographics for actors, so there will be many different stories being told, all through different screens and images.
Production for the film is supposed to start in late July of 2022.
